On Saturday evening, Bullwinkle hosted the UQ Club for a ten game match. Owing to some late withdrawals and stronger than anticipated attendance from UQ, several Bullwinkle players (Jacob Edwards, Jason Chan, Michael D’Arcy) were required to play two games (special shout-out to Jacob for copping a double black).
Bullwinkle ended up winning the match 7.5-2.5, although a number of games were closer than that scoreline might suggest. Thanks to Max and the UQ Club for responding so positively to the match invitation – hopefully this was the first of many encounters.
