Match two of the year saw Bullwinkle journey to the Redlands RSL Chess Club, where Angela and Craig once again played generous host. Out-rated on all boards, the Redlands nevertheless seized their opportunities in scoring two points. Time controls were 60/side + 10/move, except for board 1 (which due to an airport scheduling clash was contested as a best-of-ten lightning match). Nik Stawski put in an appearance as Bullwinkle’s non-playing captain, while Cameron Bailey returned to the board for his tenth classically timed Bullwinkle appearance, and so was inducted into the club’s Hall of Fame.
